2024 Year of Dualities - mYields Annual Review

Updated: 4 days ago

We got closer to farming as we moved our HQ loaction to our family farm, while we got further from business reality as we get deep in AWS and server configurations to enable API automations and seamless data flows. We achieved few in financials and so much in development of our future. - still not OpenAI level losses:). We lost our faith in AI, and we start to regain step by step as we change the perspective of its use.

I'm writing our company End Year Review now for the 2nd year, and I always wanted them to be public, I even attached them to Annual financial statements to be more accessible, then it hit me, why not in the blog? So here it is in our blog:)

mYields Operations:

  • Headquarters Relocation:

    • New location enables storage of digital assets and server operations at the same annual cost as the previous provider.

  • Automation Enhancements:

    • Inventory Management: Expanded to include material inventory.

    • Logistics System: Integrated mYields standard shipping requests and generator for packages and equipment.

    • Remote Access: Implemented HopOn and TeamViewer for improved server utilization and support for temporary workers.

    • Financial Monitoring: Extended to include the Digitalisation system, ensuring project-level cost and revenue tracking.

    • Billingo API3 Integration: Automatically uploads issued invoices into the Digitalisation database.

  • ML and Server Testing:

    • Existing two Mac Pro servers support and the right python libraries are meeting current research needs.

    • Due to AWS Activate Startup Funding we deep dive in the AWS architecture and build our test concepts in 2025 at the AWS platform.
